Your role:

The Business Analyst (BA) is a highly visible position within the Client Services department and an ideal fit for candidates who are interested in the intersection of finance and technology. The BA bridges the gap between investment and software professionals by providing subject matter expertise and experience. The BA works as part of a team of Project Managers, Client Success Managers, and Support Representatives in the implementation, delivery, and support of our clients using Dynamo, Cloud-based investment management, and reporting solution

Your daily life:

  • Work on upwards of 10 client implementations at any point in time while adhering to Dynamo project management guidelines
  • Act as liaison between Clients’ front-, middle- and back-offices and internal Development teams by understanding investment industry practice principles and translating them into workable software solution
  • Migrate and reconcile clients’ databases for CRM, Fundraising, Deal Sourcing, Partnership Accounting, and Portfolio Management product modules using SQL, Excel, and Dynamo Custom tools
  • Gather client requirements and perform QA for custom reports and workflow
  • Build strong relationships with customers

What you bring in:

  • Experience and knowledge of both liquid and illiquid investment analysis and performance reporting
  • Private Equity Partnership Accounting and Portfolio Accounting principles and fundamentals
  • General knowledge of database structure that allows for quick understanding of data migration tools and processes
  • Technical Skills: proficient Excel and beginner to intermediate SQL
  • Experience working in the financial services industry, specifically the alternative assets space is preferred
