You will have a unique opportunity to work for a successful financial software vendor serving blue chip clients around the world. We are seeking a seasoned Business Development executive who will work out of our London Office with a pan-European territory.

This position requires the right candidate to be a trusted teammate who fosters positive relationships throughout our organisation in order to get things done. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can assume a great deal of responsibility and add value to our London team from day one. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5-6 years of software sales experience
  • Preference for candidates who have sold software in the institutional investor space
  • Candidates experienced in selling into Buy-Side, Multi-Asset class and Alternative Investment spaces will be considered
  • Demonstrable history of achieving and surpassing quotas on a consistent basis

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Self-starter, someone able to find solutions to complex problems
  • Hunter mentality preferred over Farmer
  • Solid software sales experience (financial services a plus)
  • Consultative selling style to the C-level
  • Technical aptitude to scope, define needs, and offer customised software and service solutions
  • Desire to work in entrepreneurial, fast-pace environment

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Meet and exceed annual revenue quotas and performance standards
  • Develop and qualify opportunities through prospecting, research, needs analysis, requirements
    definition, and presentations
  • Uncover prospects’ business needs through the disciplined application of sales methodology
  • Manage the proposal and contract process
